Income Report for February 2020
Welcome to my February income report. I’m going to keep this report relatively short and sweet, since I’ve been doing reports for a little while now, and I think you can just go back and look at the older ones to see my general opinions on things.
One thing I will mention is that I’ve questioned the value of doing these reports, so if you would like me to continue, please drop a comment below so I know that people are reading them and find them useful.
I fear that some may perceive these reports as inappropriate for a mental health site. But I feel I have to stay true to what feels right to me. If I am helping someone somewhere, then it is worthwhile. It’s also helpful for me to do this, so that I can remind myself of the progress being made and how far I’ve come.
Note: The numbers in parentheses are from last month.
Pageviews: 32,141 (45,375)

Mailing List Subscribers: 2231 (1879)
Pinterest Followers: 1.7k (1.5k)
Pinterest monthly viewers: 2 million (1.5 million)
Facebook Followers: 5066 (5046)
Twitter Followers: 3199 (3197)
Instagram Followers: 192 (157)

Overall, it looks like February was weaker than January. I believe this is because the beginning of January I was riding the high of several viral pins and those eventually died down. March is starting out similar to February, so I think this is my new “baseline.” If I want my traffic to rise again, I will need to find an area to focus on and give a really strong push. That seems to be when my traffic surges upward.
February BLOG INCOME REPORT:
Monumetric: $22.21 ($153.67)
Pageview RPM: $0.69 ($3.39)
Pageview RPM: $12.85
Amazon OVERALL: $40.71 ($24.99)
Note: I’m reporting everything in US Dollars.
Amazon US: $26.79 ($24.87)
Amazon CANADA: $11.01 ($0.12)
Amazon UK: $2.91 ($0)
Betterhelp: $0 ($0)
Cratejoy: $0 ($25)
Products overall: $120 ($257)
Social Anxiety Masterclass: 2 sold
CBT + Mindfulness Worbkook Tripwire: 8 sold
Total income: $432.24 ($460.66)
So, my overall income remained pretty steady from January to February. I am thinking that I may need to make the Social Anxiety Masterclass available all of the time instead of a closed/open enrollment. I also think I need to focus more on my affiliates.
I’m not including and training/courses/Masterminds in here. But in the month of February I took an SEO course from Debbie Gartner, and I have also been enrolled in a Mastermind group hosted by Faith Mariah.
Email (Convertkit): $49
(Note that I have canceled Tailwind, and so this will not be an expense that I will incur in April. I am instead using a manual pinning strategy that I learned from Alison Reeves along with strategies I learned from Carly Campbell’s course Pinteresting Strategies).
: $13.60 (use and discount code KSDISC to save 20%)
You’ll note that I never include hosting on this list. That is because I paid for Sitegground for a year upfront around this time last year. I’m actually thinking about switching over to Big Scoots in April, to increase my site speed and also to avoid the big price increase that I know is coming from Siteground.
Total expenses: $129.41 ($129.41)
Net blog income: $302.83 ($331.25)
Thoughts about this month’s income report:
I’d call February kind of a quiet month. I’m in a bit of a lull as far as figuring out what works in terms of increasing revenue. When I open up my course again in April, I expect things to pick up a bit more.
I’ve been very happy with my switch over to Mediavine. My earnings are higher, and they seem to have a lot of checks and balances to make sure that you are doing as well as possible.
Looking back on my goals from February, I need to get working more on that Social Skills ebook. I did complete the Easy SEO Revamp course and I did do the affiliate launch (for Betterhelp).
Goals for March:
- Finish Elite Blog Academy
- Write the Social Skills ebook
- Usual day-to-day tasks
That’s it for this report! If you have any questions or comments I’d love to hear them.
