Income Report for May 2021 The following income report is for the blog that I run at About Social Anxiety.com. I'm sharing it here to show my progress in figuring out how to make a blog/website successful! I'm also going to move over all the previous income reports from that site to Passive Wealthy so that things are kept more separate. May STATS: Note: The numbers in parentheses are from last month. I'm retrieving these numbers from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Semrush, Convertkit, and my social media platforms. Pageviews: 34,299 (34,297) Sessions: 27,545 (28,179) Users: 24,989 (25,417) Organic Sessions (Google): 8,440 (8,766) Social Sessions: 10,102 (11,162) Mailing List Subscribers: 4605 (3868) I gained almost 1000 subscribers! This was almost all from my Tik Tok growth. Social Media Pinterest Followers: 5.3k (5.1k) Facebook Followers: 5.6k (5.6k) Facebook group members: 346 (147) Twitter Followers: 3.3k (3.3k) Instagram Followers: 504 (431) Tik Tok Followers: 170k (23.7k) Total Social Media Followers: 185k (38k) Tik Tok has continued to grow! And, I'm only posting one video a week that takes me no more than 20 minutes to make. That's a huge ROI. Posts published: 5 (6) I've really been struggling to keep up with regular posting with our lockdown continuing. That's because my link in bio on Tik Tok includes a direct link to a freebie, which leads to a tripwire, which leads into my welcome sequence. Etsy Products Total Etsy Revenue: $0 ($15) Sunburst Gratitude Worksheet: 0 sold (5 sold) Rainbow Set of 12 Gratitude Worksheets: 0 sold (0 sold) It's obvious to me now that the reason that worksheet kept selling was because that pin was going viral on Pinterest. Interesting to note, I'm not sure what to do with that information. This was never the focus of my website. Total income: $1061.32 ($617.20) Income per subscriber: $0.23 ($0.15) Income per thousand pageviews: $31.20 ($18.15) Overall, my income per subscriber and per pageviews grew, mostly because I was driving traffic straight into the funnel and bypassing the blog altogether. This is not AT ALL how I planned to monetize this site. However, it may be easiest to hit my target of $1000/month for products before my goal of the same amount for ads or affiliates. I am still in a quandary about how to raise my traffic and also how to get all the people from Tik Tok over to my site/email list. Did I Meet my Goals for May? My goals were to add an affiliate program in Teachable, write posts, and figure out how to get traffic from Tik Tok. These will continue to be my goals in June since I did not accomplish anything other than writing and posting videos.
